Originally founded in 1862 as the New England Hospital for Women and Children, The Dimock Center provides vital services and programs to thousands of Boston residents and families each year. For a quarter of a century, Steppin’ Out has provided direct financial support to Dimock’s Adult and Pediatric Health Services, Child and Family Programs, Behavioral Health Services and Residential programs. As a treasured Boston tradition and one of the City’s most talked about evenings, Steppin’ Out is a high energy night filled to the brim with sounds ranging from Jazz and Gospel to R&B and Latin Music.

Steppin’ Out 2012 will feature five “clubs” featuring music by the “Empress of Soul,” eight-time Grammy winning R&B icon and star of this season’s Dancing with the Stars, Gladys Knight!

The evening will also feature performances from 10-time Grammy winning acappella sensation Take 6, and Legendary South African singer, songwriter guitarist, Johnathan Butler and many more.
